Morgan Bailey Ventures

Morgan Bailey Ventures is the partnership between Blue Ridge Rustics (Jesse Morgan) and Gravity's Edge (Aaron Bailey). MBV takes a top down approach in their woodwork. We start, where all wood does, with the tree. Most of the lumber and slabs we use come from tree removals, lot clearing, or logs that we have spotted in yards, landfills, or stump dumps. We then take these logs and mill them ourselves. This gives a unique ability to create material that is virtually impossible to purchase commercially. We can cut a log with a specific project in mind, but often the logs and slabs produced from the logs will inspire the designs. It is from these materials that we build our furniture, bridges, sculptures, etc. We don't like to limit our imaginations. Much of what we do can't be found in a text book so please let us know if we can help you dream something up or if one of our creations would look good in or around your home.
